My buddy says that longtube headers for a 93 4.3 will work on mine and his trucks. I dont think this is true,.. it just dont seem right. So.. will they?

This has nothing to do with headers, but my buddy says it illegal to not have a 3rd brake light, is this true? I dont think it is, cause theres plenty of new cars and truck without them.

The steering shaft changed in 94 (95 for blazers).. it actually gave MORE room to the engine. I'd say 1/2" to 3/4" worth of room. You'd need to check your local laws & reg's, I'd say there's a chance it could be illegal to run w/out one depending on the year of vehicle.

If it came with a third brake light it has to have one. All cars 1985 and up have to have them and I think 1994 and up trucks have to have them. You may be able to get away with shaving it, depends on how strick they are. You could always shave the light and get a licence plate frame with one built in for inspection.
