There's a/c delete pulleys on ebay, just look. Yea, you may be able to just run a smaller belt, too.. but the pulley costs about the same amount as a belt so why chance it?

i run a 84.5" belt (i believe thats the size) directly from my P/S to the ALT, so no problems with several thousand miles. I know a few others doing this with out problems also.

Pics?! there isn't a straight path from the PS to the Alt.... the water pump pulley is in the way. Unless you changed the idler pulley over to grooved instead of smooth and ran the belt on top of the idler.

I got my a/c bypass pulley from summit. inexpensive and looks a lot better, not to mention the weight savings.
I just bypassed as well with a shorter belt. I do have about an 18" run of belt, but its not a daily, so idgaf

My 96 ZR2 has a little label that shows how to route the belt with or without AC on the radiator support ..of course its with a smaller belt and it looks like they add another pulley on the compressor support
raise your hood and have a look see

It won't add that much maybe frees up 10hp but it removes weight.. a good amount of weight.
