Just out of curiosity, how much would it cost to have caddy lights installed? And what kind of shop would do this?

Thanks.

I'd search out a body shop that is experienced with custom fabrication. Your average body shop might be willing to tackle this project but would be at a disadvantage not having done something similar before.

I haven't priced this yet although I'm considering it too. I can't imagine it being less than $1,000.00 in labor and paint. The lights and block-off plates are another $500.00 new. If you found descent lights in a wrecking yard they should be less but recylcers know the value of those lights now for mods so you wouldn't save much. There are caddy kits now with LEDs instead of light bulbs that would be a very modern approach.

LEDs are the pimp way to go. Youll need to cut out the bucket the lamps fit into to make it go in right. The 'kits' come with them.

If I had away to get up there I would have no problem helping you out. Maybe I'll have transportation soon and we can talk. On a side note sometime next week I should be going to look at a '89 Crown Vic for $300.
