Wingless hatch?

anyone know a place that i can get a wingless hatch for my 88 s10 blazer?... i have been looking but i really cant find anyone. i just hate the wing and wish i could get rid of it without having to replace it but i have to . anything will help. thanks

Junkyards are your best option. The wings were pretty common from 87+. Look for an early to mid 80's Blazer, and swap the hinges with yours. I'll dig around some more and see if I can find the part numbers, so you could just order a set from the dealer or GMPartsdirect.com

No problem. Post up a before and after when you do the swap, I've been thinking about it.
Not sure if I'll miss having another tiedown point on the back, tho. Comes in handy when you have to move mattresses and ****!

LOL aint that the truth. There is a blazer that just moved in around the corner from me and he has a wingless hatch... with no mirrors... and airbags. I need to go talk to him and get him on this site. but his hatch looks sweet without it
