ZQ8 Wheels or Iroc Wheels...?

so i am wanting to get some new wheels for my truck, and possibly either the Iroc 16's or the ZQ8 16's. i was really wanting to get the ZQ8's just because they look sick on the S10 but i like how the Iroc's look too, so i was wanting to get some opinions on what u guys think i should get? i know i should get a bigger and better wheel but im starpped for cash and was looking on the cheaper side, plus i think the 16's look awsome on the truck

Look in 'Parts of Interest' thread I started. And go to one of the last pages. There is a link to a guy on e-bay with a set for $100 shipping and starting at $75 bidding I think it was. Decent but not perfect. ZQ8s are newer and more expensive...harder to find to right now unless new. Either would make a god looking choice. But keep in mind the Iroc 16x8s have 2 offsets (front and rear) Front is 0* and rear is 16mm* if I remember corectly.

The new ZQ8's are pretty snazzy and look pertty so go with the ZQ8's

The new ZQ8's on the S10forum there is a petition to get Oasis wheels to make them in larger diameters. I'd wait for the 17's or 18's. They have the Irocs allready I think secondary to another petition.

This would be cool! Back when I bought my ZQ8, a buddy was trying to get me into a set of 20s. Every day, he would show me a set that "you need". But my reply was.."find me a set of what I have in 20s and Ill buy them". Simply, I really like this wheel. But 19s up front and 202 out back would be ideal 4 me. I like the Budnik Tiller5. ya i was really liking the way the ZQ8 wheels r looking on the lowered S10's, and i saw a set for them brand new on Ebay for like $460 or something (not a bad deal) then i was thinking about getting 245/50/16 tires, thanks for the opinions

that would be sweet if they made the ZQ8 wheels larger in diameter, i would really wanna get those in either 17's or 18's, im not big on size anything over 18's i think doesnt look good sometimes, my opinion though

ya i am really thinking about getting those, i was also looking at the Trans AM WS6 wheels and was getting peoples opinions and thoughts if i should get them or if they would work

I have a set of irocs on my x10. The rims matched up perfect without flaires but with um on they didnt quite look rite.
Took it to a rim chop and they put 3'' cpacers on the rear and 1.5'' in the front. 2'' might look a bit better but they rub when turning.
For the right price il sell my set and i know i guy that will make the spacers to match the flairs.

I have a set of 4 FRONT 16x8 trans-am GTA wheels which are similar to both the irocs and zq8's I run 295-50-16's on the back and 215-55-16 on the front with a 5-6 drop and I get asked if my truck is tubbed :cool:

I say zq8's becuase irocs are nice but if you want it to look proper you will need 4 fronts. iroc's have 5 1/8 backspace on rears and 4.5 on fronts :D
