well now that every engine come across becomes to good to be tru or to much out of my pocket to afford im thinking of selling my s10. Id hate to do it cause its my baby lol but ive come across a car that fits me a lil better and gets better gas mileage since my truck gets around 19 the car gets 1 more lol. Its a 1998 S-10 single cab, lowered 2/2, its a 2.2L, roll pan, font valance with dual exhaust ports, has flowmaster 40 series muffler, 16 inch rims, with $65000 miles. Mike has seen my truck. This isnt 100% for sure if im selling but an idea...lemme know....

im 6'5 lol my knee sits up with the blinker switch which i always knock, and this 1mpg is with a v8 which i can work on. im not 100% yet but im almost out of ideas with my truck. i wanted a v8 but dang to get a good one costs a load

I have seen Dans truck. Its a clean and well kept ride. What I dont understand is your 1st post bud....Is it $6500 to buy or is it 65,000 miles? I think I know but just wanted to clarify. I didnt ralize you were 6'5". Im 5'11" and you didnt seem that much taller to me. Maybe I had my heels on that day. Hehehehe Seriouly though, have you thought about getting an extended cab? There was one for sale over on Tharpe Street near Tops of Tally a few months back. 4.3 ,all power, ext, pewter ext ,ZQ8. I looked at it and it was a decent truck with a few add-ons. But clean. IDK how much it was but if I see it again, Ill look. There is a Pewter reg cab ZQ8 like mine but with the older rims at JD Byrider auto sales on Tennessee St. Whats your $$ range and are you still wanting a truck?

I drive like a granny to get that and I'm sure the tires make a huge difference. you have 31" soft compound tires and i have ~25" harder compound tires. I got ~13 in my 3.0l v6 4runner with 31's. I also run 94 octane if that makes a diff. I don't get much better on the highway, maybe 22-23 at 75 mph.

me getting 19mpg is me driving like a granny. and the 65000 was mileage. I love my truck, if i didnt i wouldnt have put time into like i have. its been my truck since i was 13 and put around 3 grand into it. I wouldnt mind keeping it if it have room to do more performance stuff without swapping motors. Mike if you see those trucks and it was under $6000 cause thats my limit if i sell my truck. and an extended cab doesnt do much i was looking at getting a zr2 extended and it fits the same for me. but right now im just looking at what to do.....

I'm a little over 6'1 & I found that if you want more head room in the reg cab truck swap in some sunfire seats. You'll sit about 3 inches lower & you can sit back a little farther, too because the back of the sunfire seats are thinner than the S10s'.

There is a ZR2 Ext in Black near my house 4-sale. It has the OEM fogs up where mine ar in the parking lamps, I think the lower airdam is missing and it has aftermarket wheels/tires with a offset that sticks them out futher. IMO, from the road it looks like it has been played with and most likely scuffed up. Its cool if you want a off-roader for palying with. Gas milage, I wouldnt expect to be much better than what youu have. 4WD, 3.73s probably and extra weight. Ill keep an eye out.

i say keep the s10 too, i have had mine since June 06' and i believe thats the longest i ever owned a vehicle and i love my truck! lol i believe mine gets like 17mpg city and like 22 highway with a 4.3 5pd, no muffler exhaust (haha)

Nah mike lol no zr2 anymore i like them but street is where i like so i like em low. Yea i get bout 19-20 depending which version of granny driving i do. but i might still keep the truck cause my gf is buying a 5.0 mustang i can drive/work on. Thats what i was thinking of selling my dime for was a convertable 5.0 7-up car one of 3300 made, in almost perfect condition with 73,000 miles....hard to resist lol but dont waoory its the only ford i like :D:D

Hey I found a sweet looking truck if your interested. At the corner of Capital Cir and Crawfordvill Hwy there is a dealer lot called UltimateImageAuto. Around the Cap.Cprcle side there ia a 1994-1998 Sonoma ZQ8 Black ExtCab. It has Fogs, Flat ZQ8 5-spokes, recessed Billet Grille and I think it was a Stepside. But not real sure. It was right up front and looks pretty damn sweet. I think it had the areo-lamps instead of the recessesd sealed beams. Maybe check it out. Kinda looks like SyNomas truck.

well people i dont think i can give up my s10 i want this mustang so bad but everytime i see my truck im like that is pretty bad ass looking truck lol..soo its either keep my lil 2.2 or get an extended cab with the good ol 4.3......
