hey guys, i am currently in the process of stripping down my '85 pickup's engine. i'm taking the heads off for a valve job(just sending it to a machine shop), and replacing the carb with a new holly...

my problem is the vaccum lines...they are everywhere, and i am not sure i'm upto mapping them myself. anyone know of an online diagram, or someplace to buy the old vaccum/exhaust books? and/or a technical specs page, so i can figure the tourqe needed for the head bolts...

not very flashy, but its all i have the money for atm, haha. headers and aggresive cams come later :)

I wouldnt do that if you paid me. I went to autozone asking the guy where the coolant level sensor was on a grandprix gtp I was putting lower intake gaskets in for a budd of mine. After looking on their z net or whatever its called he came back with the brilliant response "its in the radiator" Yes, no ****, thank you very much, please do the world a favor and dont reproduce. I wanted to know which side of the rad it was on because they were both very inaccessable. Id go to autozone if I wanted to buy a shifter knob for a honda. Go to oreilys, get a hanyes manual, and then get to gettin your hands dirty!

Did you notice that I said .com as in "online" manual ? It will save you lots of look'n. Autozone doesn't have a monopoly on d a counter people, they seem to be at most part stores.
