I got moisture in my headlights. Anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of it and why its there. Also in my parking light lenses, had it in there before but then I took the lenses back where I bought them and got replacements cuase they kept doing that.
you headlight's or not sealed completly. this lets air in to the light's that then condesates(or some sientific B/S like that)
pull your lamp houseings off and use a hairdryer to remove the moister inside the houseings. Know you have to find out where they are leaking and seal it. Factory houseings usally leak at the that little foam seall arount the light sockets. you know that foam thing that people rip ore take off and thinck nothing of it. They'er super cheap and you can pick them up at the parts store.
Aftermarket housings on the outher hand are useally not put together well or there is some kind of defect in them..in outher words you get what you pay for. take them back if you can and get a new set.

My bad, I guess I should have put my post here to begin with. The factory headlight lenses have little holes in the back of them. I don't think they have foam around the socket, not sure. I know the after market corner lenses don't have that, they are brand new, I just took the old ones back cause they got full of moisture everytime I washed it. I beleive both the headlights and corners have like vent holes on the back of them. It is cold in fla. now so maybe that has something to do with it.

Its usually about 90* here so when it gets to 60* or below thats cold to me. Oh I know what cold is. I have lived in Fla. 27 years and I went to Conn. last year the week after the first snow storm and froze my a** off. Yeah its deffinetly cold up there but just a few weeks ago it was almost 90* here. If I have to wear a jacket, its cold. :D

There is one breather per light with a light mesh over it. Its suppose to allow the heat to escape and not let water moisture in or build up. Its those are sealed over it will cause problems. If the light has a leak other than that area, it will cuase problems. Like BVR said , you need to either seal them or get new ones and you can dry them out with a hairdryer. If you dont have clear signals I have a set of orange ones that are good, plus one headlight thats good. All are for the newer 98+ and cheap if you wanted them, the other headlight I have has that leak , but I went to diamond clears all around and there not needed!
