I bought these rims and tires for 100 bucks last night. The rims are 5x4.5 and they slid on but the studs kinda rub. Also the studs are to short. So will they be fine like this as long as i put longer studs on?I thought about wheel adapters but i don`t want them to stick out.Has anyone redrilled there hubs and rotors to make a different bolt pattern? Heres some pics to give you a idea of what im talking about.
why go through that work to put on a 100 dollar set of wheels? No you cannot run them like that. You have to have nuts that slide into the holes in the wheel. No, it is not safe, no you cannot do it. That isnt a challenge, thats logic. Sell the wheels

If all else fails i will get adapters. I wasnt talking about running them like they are in the pic.I was just asking if there was a way other than the adapters. Since i don`t have the cash to dump on a set of top of the line rims i will get adapters.

Thats a ford bolt pattern. sell them.
Why run adaptors? Doesnt make sense for a 100 dollar set of wheels

What does the price of what i paid have anything to do with it.Just becouse they are ford pattern doesnt mean i need to sell them.I was just asking if there was another option than adapters. Im not wanting to get into a big back and forth pissing match either. You guys have always been good help with all my questions...
Price adaptors. Then you will see the logical option would be to sell them. A GOOD set of wheel adaptors will run you at least 200 before shipping. The price of the wheels comes into play because is it worth it to spend 200+ dollars on a 100 dollar set of wheels?
Theres the first link I found on a google search

I get what you was saying t-man.I have decided to sell them cause i was looking at some adapters and there studs look like they would be to short.I just hate the look of my stock rims. What i would really like is the c6 corvette rims but they will have to wait.
Just trying to let you know. I had a 17/18 combo that came off of a 4th gen camaro that was going to go on my 87 but once I priced adaptors I turned around and made 200 bucks on the wheels.

4.5" is also '70-up RWD Mopar. Just find a guy with an A,B,C,E,F,J,M or R-body, a '72 to pre-mid-'85 full-size 2WD truck or van, or even a 1st-gen Dakota and offer them to him.
