Cam Help

I have a 350 block that was made for a hydraulic flat taped. But I want to do a hydraulic roller. Can I buy a roller cam and buy the retro fit lifters? Or do I have to get a retro fit cam also? Because dont roller cams make better power if im not mistakein.
