I'm looking to get some '98-up bumper ends for a step side bed. I don't care what color they are but would prefer yellow. The reason I want some bumper ends is because I don't have the funds to do the step shavers but I want the Xtreme body kit off the truck. Put up some pix of yo' ends.. minor scratchin is okay.

Do you have the StepShavers yet?

Yes I do, but I need someone to 'glass them on & paint them. IDK how to do the 'glass work & I don't have the money to get them put on & painted. Hopefully selling the body kit will pay for that & all the other little touch ups.

What kind of step shavers do you have, ABS, 'glass or steel?

I'm a little scared as to what I might find or not find behind the body kit. I pulled back the front valance & the bumper only seems to be 1/2 painted on the sides of the bumper. I know it doesn't matter in the back because the bumper ends cover it.. that's why I wanted to know about color matching paint. I wonder how much the dealer charges for an 10-12oz spray can.

..If anyone's got a set let me know. I don't feel like walkin around the junk yard.. or maybe I do, IDK.

Hmm. My TA is painted behind its GFX. Tehy even have welded ledges under it to the lower body where you step into the car/door opening sil. The GFXs were usually painted seperately and installed after the body. IDK about the S-10s. RU sure its just not accumilated dirt? I would remove a flait or something easy and clean it up to determine its condition 1st. And, the StepShavers....why cant you hang them primered and not yet glassed in? I understand wanting to make them flow by moulding them, but youre gonna want to pre-fit them anyway a few times B4 finalizing the fit and paint

From what I remember about the step shavers is they need to be glassed to the brackets.. no other way to attach. I know about the pre-fit & whatnot. It's just easier for me, right at this current point, to find some OEM bumper ends & install those. On the front bumper it looks like they painted over the foam padding that's stuck to the bumper between the valance & bumper corner & then there's faint paint.
