View Full Version : The Year is 1984... Too Cool...
1984 Corvette TV commercial. I remember this commercial back in the day, although it was abbreviated after Chevy paid for the first one. CLICK (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7w0nQB8Hew)
Did anyone know that there was never a 1983 Corvette available at the dealership or anywhere else?

LMAO!!! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahhahaa!!! AHHHH hahahahahahahahahaaha!!! Youve never seen........Anything.......Like this B4........Never B4..... Simplest song ever produced. I would like to point out a flaw too : The guy is showed 3x's shifting the gear selector back and forth as if it were a manual. While doing so the narrorator is talking about the computer controlled Manual tranny. Well, look closely, there is a button on top of the shifter handle indicating its an Auto! hahahaha! The 90s proved to be better. I actually still have the promo 1998 VHS from Pontiac with this on it. Its much longer than the commercial and Rocks Tha House! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZeSMsafbjQ

Saw a bunch of Tron influences in that commercial. Plus a couple of other sci-fi flicks.

Doug Nash 4+3 was a M21/22 not sure which one with a bolt on electric OD can't remember the brand that makes them now.
And on the '83 Vettes there were no production models sold to the public but a number of prototypes for testing.
The sad part is when those of us that are old enough saw that comercial we prolly almos peed our pants because that was the coolest schizz of all time. I remember when the new Vette came out I was 10 y/o and talking soooo much schizz and now looking back I realize I got excited over 205hp. My Blazer has more power. lol

Okay... but you should tell all the facts.... there were actually 3 "made", 2 were destoyed while testing and the 3rd was the only survivor and yes, it is on display in the museum. I said... there were no 1983 Corvettes sold at dealerships or anywhere else. :D
