I got my Transgo shift kit and vette servo installed today and what a difference. Awesome. Snatches 2nd and 3rd. Any body heard of a super servo? The tech at the trans. shop told me about it. It is supposed to be bigger and better than the vette servo.

The “corvette servo†is GM’s solution to help with firmer ****s 1st to 2nd and third is also helped because a portion of the servo is also the 3rd accumulator. The “supper servo†is an aftermarket servo, which is even more aggressive.

How much more aggresive do you think it is? Do you think if I get it I might break something becuae the kit and the vette servo are ok but if it shifts twice as hard I think I might break a u-joint or rear end. I don't want to waste the money if it will be too hard and I should stick with what I have. Keep in mind its a blazer xtreme and the back end is not as light as the s10. And I have some pretty sticky tires. So breaking the tires loose right now without headers probably won't happen.

Years ago I ran the Fairbanks servo (similar I'm sure to the "super servo" - it had a much larger surface area than the stock vette servo) and it would bang every gear w/o even having a shift kit. If I would've had enough HP it prolly would chirp the tires on the 3-4 shift. I'm sure it contributed to my (7.5) rear going south but I also drove it hard and raced it with slicks. The way I look at it is if it breaks it needed to be "fixed" anyway.

Yeah thats my motto too, but this is my daily driver and I use it to travel for work 'till Jan. then I should have this new job I have been after for the past month.
