i also feel obliged to say that street racing is bad but nice kill anyway! I did some launch "testing" on a back road this weekend myself and my tires suffered horribly.... why is wasting expensive tires so much fun?!?!

I agree with the rest. I dont like steet racing especially at high speeds. Im more of a fan of racing from a dead stop at a traffic light and just see who can reach the speed limit of the highway (40 mph...50 mph..etc.) the fastest. Thats not bad as long as nobody else is around.

I definately would never street race myself since im lucky to be alive. I was in a Mustang with a few of my buddies (maybe like 5 years ago) and the driver decided to race a couple of Civics that flew by us on I-80. He would never of raced, but one of my buddies cheered him on. We caught up to those cars real fast, but a sharp turn came up. The car lost traction and we spun going 110 mph. Long story short, we all walked away with just a few cuts and brusies. But the car was totalled. So after that life threatening situation...I would never do that myself or get involved with that.

I usually race from 0-60 maybe 70 at the most, lol but in that video i passed the camera at 85, i was in the mood to go fast that time.

one of my friends friend had a 05 mustang gt and just got nitrous hooked up and was rollin 5 deep drunk at 130 mph on streets and jumped a intersection and totaled his car, and nobody was really hurt if they were goin any slower they woulda probably died cuz of there speed they just split a telephone pole in two

ummmm, the idea of a long travel is to keep the tires on the ground. only gonna pop em off with a tight suspension, (and i mean uncomfortably tight) or dros. sorry to rain on the parade
