aactually 2 days ago me and my friend's were goin to target to look for something i dont remember what is was but i only have 2 seats and there was 3 of us so my other two friends went in my friends ranger and i drove my truck, we were on this road and my friend shot dirt all at my truck with a burnout, so i was tryin to catch him and the street we were on has really big bumps perfect for jumping, i had done it before but not too big, so i slowed a lil for the first 2 but i knew the 3rd one was the best so i floored it and pulled on the left side of the road and jumped it at about 50, it was cool cuz i was in the air as i was passing up my friends, and my truck handled it pretty good i think, nothing messed up, it was fun as hell, i was thinking of bringing my camera and record me gettin some air off of that same jump

i once jumped my moms piece of s*** PT cruiser off a 3 foot truck bay.

I dont like jumping my truck....its too nice to do that in anymore. I admit when it was a piece of s*** I would jump it on little stuff but now i dontwant to bend any control arms/cross members/frame!

I dont like to abuse my stuff or really anyone elses. I did do a mini jump with my 1st car a 86 T-Bird. Another time I went joyriding in a car...well it was 2 different cars, so 2Xs...from a car lot of a family freind. 1st time it was a 85 Mustang GT. Decent car and while me and a buddy were 'test driving' it, we came on a road that had a very uneven railroad track. Im talking like the rails were on a pretty steep banking and the road crossed it....and didnt cross straight. The 1st time across was an accidental jump. That was going down and I wasnt familiar with the road, so we went a little airborne. But going back was a different story. I came up to it at about 40 and floored it around 25 yards out. We got some good air, landed slightly sideways and pretty hard. My friend faceplanted the sunvisor on the passenger side pretty stiffly. I couldnt stop laughing. He wasnt feeling it the same way. Maybe he should've gotten my vantage point! hehehehehe The next was a 19?? Pontiac 6000 STE with automatic suspension. Same buddy , didnt learn the 1st time , and we went on the same road. Hit it harder both ways but the car didnt seem to get as much air. The SES light came on after the 2nd pass, as did the Susp lamp. Oops

I used to jump my '84 toyota all the time. slower speed 4-wheeling stuff when hitting something in a mud hole or full out 100km/h dirt road flights. I landed one of the latter once and my tailgate tore off the box (fiberglass) and was hanging by the chains. I broke some belts on tires and alot of mounting rings off shocks - maybe 8-10 times - but the monroe sales rep kept me supplied through my dad's store. also cracked the frame a few times but the truck was really rusty so that helped.

I was in the passenger seat of my friends 4x4 '96 s10 extended cab when he jumped it at >130 km/h. we got significant hang time but never broke anything in that truck. he jumped it and abused it alot. that guy could drive like no one else I've ever driven with though! we used to "rally" race each other for years on an abandoned dirt road outside of town - god that was fun!

oh dear...1986 Olds Delta 88, 3.8L Front Wheel Drive, one of them comfy cars...worn, beat, battered, and bruised, but comfy. We set this one sail 2wice. First time was on a gravel back road that crossed a 2 lane highway..it was 2 or 3 in the morning, so there was no one on the roads. Turned out to be a good flight, landing was rough, but everything worked out. The 2nd time...well...thats a different story. Set of CN Train Tracks in a small town called Komoka, about 15 minutes outside of London Ontario. Again, about 2 or 3 in the morning, so the town is dead. My buddy and I set sail at about 90Kms/hr, the speed limit, I think on this section is 60Kms/hr. Needless to say, the car absolutely LAUNCHED off these tracks, landed with a huge bang, and came to a stop, while laughing our arses off. As I peered down the hood line of this beast of a car, I noticed a slight..wow..in the hood...right about where the shock tower is on the drivers side. Poped the hood, got out, lifted the hood, only to discover the Upper Strut Mount and bearing plate assy had come through the top of the tower. The laughing had suddenly stopped, as I realised we had just pretty much finished this poor car off.
I wish I had pics to proove the damage done to the car. This weekend im gonna get a couple pics and post them, of the set of tracks that took this beast of a car off the road.

i was driving through a parking lot. at night, with inadequate lighting. well i figured it'd be good and mellow so i thought there would be no harm in going 20-30. there was a big ol bump, that would catch you off guard, and by the time you realize what happened, you'd be jarred when you landed. this happened to me. the angle was prob close to 25 degrees, and i flew.......i know i got good air, and then bottomed out hard. knocked the shims outta the rear of my uca and had a knock from the uca everytime i stopped, until i got an allignment

I never jumped a car, but I have had my '84 goldwing in the air going over railroad tracks. That's a hard landing.

I jumped an 87 Blazer once "by accident". We were driving home from fishing. Coming down a hill there was a dip in the road. It looked pretty small so I maintained speed. Well it was bigger than it looked and although I didn't SEE the wheels leave the pavement, I could tell they did "I was driving" my parents truck with friends. It landed hard enough to scrape on the pavement. I think my dad knew about it, or at least that I'd done something to the truck, but he never said anything to mom.
I also jumped my 83 3/4 ton. This will sound made up, but I swear it's not. In 1995 we had an ice storm. Everything was covered in a ton of ice. I decided I needed to go out for a drive in the ice! I got up to excelsior boulevard and tried to get going. I got going just enough to get into traffic. Then when I realized I was not going to be able to accelerate quickly enough to stay with traffic I had missed my turn. But since other cars were closing fast I had to get off the road. SO I turned it HARD left and floored it figuring I'd make the sidewalk and get stuck. Well the goodyear workhorses caught on the snow bank and launched me. I was headed for the Spur gas station. I swear to you all I was was blue sky and the trucks hood as I launched into the gas station parking lot. The owner,of the station was named Ken, he was one of dad's drinking buddies. To this day no one but Ken and me know that I narrowly missed blowing up the gas station and myself... By the way, that truck had at least 200.000 on it when I sold it. It's still on the road. The funny part is the guy who bought it and still drives it ended up marrying my witch of an ex girl friend. She hated that truck too! LMAO!! Again, sounds made up, but I swear it's all true.

^ Now that's a funny story!

I jumped a mean railroad track in an old clunky taurus with 230,000 miles on it and bald tires. My cousin was getting ready to put out to pasture. Convinced him to go on one last joy ride before scrapping it. He drove to taco bell, and said I could drive on the way back. I took a different route than him because I wanted to hit this particular railroad crossing. I got it to about 50mph, and we got off the ground. When we landed, 3 out of 4 tires had blown and one of the rear doors bent inward and that window cracked. Luckily my cousin didn't beat me up because he thought it was pretty funny and he was scrapping the thing anyway.

i've jumped, flipped, spun, and rolled vehicals lol!! but there is this spot on a one way street here in town that used to be a railroad crossing but they just paved all the way over it. we used to jump that thing in everything we owned in highschool. i had an 89 cutlass supreme that i hit it in doing about 80. there was a bus load of kids in the lane right next to me when i crossed it. i was about eye level with all of them for awhile before i landed lol.
i also deciced to race my dads car one night (still in highschool) but forgot about an intersection with a big dip on both sides. i launched the first one and then nose dove into the second one shooting sparks and pieces of turnsignals everywhere!
then another time me any my girlfriend were making out in the back of a friends ol areostar going down the road and then he decide it would be halarious to jump this bridge. i have no idea how fast we were going but both her and i hit the roof of that sob at least once as we bounced of each other. i was sooo pissed but got over it pretty quick.
