Old wreck

I finally have a scanner so I thought I would post pics of the wreck that bent my frame :mad: . This happened in 01 or 02. This was less then a week after I painted the front end, I was waiting 'till the upcoming week end to paint the cab and doors.

This is how hard I hit the car. Both the door glass poped out of the track on both sides.

Haha...I loved the Tech 4 until I over reved it.

I was coming up to an intersection with a red light. I was in the right lane slowing down. The light turned green so I down shifted and got on it a little. A tractor trailer was in the left lane and apparently a car was at the light (oncoming) and the truck driver waved for them to turn. Well I was there so it didn't go so well. To make things worse the driver had only had his license for 3 months and just stopped in front of me. He just ****ing stopped!! So on one side I have a 2' tall curb and the other a truck. I locked up all four and just smashed into him. My passenger side frame horn hit dead center of his rear wheel completely ripping the suspension out of his dad's Benz. It was funny watching the rear set passenger fly from one side of the car to the other.
So I get out and ask if they are ok, everyone said yes, then kicked a huge dent in the drivers door.

Hahaha. Just ****ing stopped eh? Not funny about your truck but Ive seen similar situations were people driving freak out, throw up their hands and stop. Dumbasses

So I'm back now.
Anyway, the cop showed up and blamed me at first until I showed him the skid marks. He ended up giving all the kids in the car seat belt tickets and the driver got failar to yield, failar to observe (no green arrow), reckless and underage passengers (in NJ you cannot have any minors in the car unless one you have one person over 18 for x amount of months).

When I went for the estimate the guy asked if I wanted all GM parts and I told him of course. When he finished the estimate it was about $100 over being totaled. I told him the grill and bumper can be aftermarket and ended up $50 under! I ended up getting $2,4xx and it cost me about $200 to fix the front end.

It's pretty, sparkley blue.. ok, that was gay. Really though that bluw rocks.

It's a dodge color called intense blue. I plan on still using that color or a Toyota color called speedway blue with double layered flame in silver. From the front to back it will have blue flames, silver flames and then solid blue.

Damn it.. that sucks. my 98 hads been hit 3 tims lol one day i got rearended in the high school parking lot my this kids POS Mighty Max kid didnt know how to drive a stick. wish i had pics of it. my bumper had a dent like 5 inches round didnt even bend the bumper brackets. his truck looked worse than yours lol the grill fell right off. screwed that mighty max up

that sucks. thats why i hate seeing people trying to be nice on the road and waving people to go, if i have the rite of way then F*CK YOU. i know they are trying to be nice but thats how alot of accidents happen. so if you have the rite of way then go. im sure you all have been at a 4 way intersection and one idiot waves for one person to go and the other waves for the other to go and it just causes a big confucion. **** BEING POLITE AND JUST FOLLOW THE RULES OF THE ROAD, and we could all prevent alot of road rage.

sorry to hear about the accident, the almost exact same thing happened except the other driver in my case was just a idiot.


I was at an intersection w/ the lights out, I waited for the first set of cars to go through. As I am going through the intersection some moron driving a "real" GMC van runs through the light and takes out the front passenger quarter of my truck. He tries to tell me that I ran through the light until he looked and realized that the light was flashing red.

well truckers are told specifically in their handbooks when their testing for their license that they should never waive a driver around them because if that driver gets into an accident the trucker can be considered at fault of the accident and have his wallet emptied by some punk in this situation daddy's mercedes

I would have emptied his wallet but he took off. The truck driver knew he caused it by waiving the kid on. I was pissed at the time but it all worked out.
