What kind of tonneau U got?
The guy has a never used tonneau for a stepside. Looks like a CheckerPro/Checkmate tonneau. Said it has all seals and brackets. Has pics of the seal kit and struts but not enough pics IMO of all of it. There is some scuffs on it, but it looks like its on the edge rail. The starting price is cheap as sin and I want it badly. But he is too lazy to ship it. Wants a slim chance of a local seeing it and buying it. Pickup only. Even if I paid to have it shipped, he doesnt really want to do it. He said in hoe last response, he would just scrap it if it doesnt sell. But also said he would hold it for me after the auction ended if I still wanted it and could arrange a pickup.
This really sucks. I really want a tonneau, cant afford the Gaylord or SnugLid I want. Cant really afford the Checkmate either. And one comes along for a near give away and I cant get it here. Dang! My luck I guess.
How much could it really cost to ship. I know usually to a business is cheaper than a residense. I can arrange it to a business no problem. Really wish the scmuck would sack up and ship it. =(

Im pretty sure the Checkmate is cheaper than Gaylord and the other ones. I like the Checkmate the best since its a flush mount unlike the others that overlap the bed. I seen one (Gaylord maybe) the other day on a S10 and didnt like it.

The Gaylord one model and Snuglid both overlay the rails, but they are so lo-profile its sleek. A Leer or ARE are like a big bubble sitting up top. I hate those. The overlap ones seal better and will lock. You can get a lock kit for the Checkmate, but unless you get a tailgate lock or shave the handle its useless to lock it. I really dont care much about the lock right now and would comprimise that for the price. I could still paint the Checkmte if so desired. Plus its light enough to remove easily for hauling the quad. I just want it for carrying stuff under there, probably gets better milage with one and covers the bed scuffs =). Really wish this guy wouldnt scrap a perfectly good cover

Yeah that guy is crazy just to scrap it. I figured since hes from Kentucky, that he would throw it in his backyard. lol Sorry to the people that live in KY. ;) I need a cover just as bad.
