Iv got an 02 S10 4x4. I put a set of indexed torsion keys for the lift in the front of the truck. The rough country's 2 inch kit comes with longer upper a arms but that kit was $700 bucks. A WAIST! I want to correct the geometry in my front end to stop tearing cv boots. Has anyone ever used like a 88-98 set of z-71 upper arms on their 4x4. I had a buddy who did that on a 93 blazer and they bolted right up. He had to drill the hole out a lil so he could just put full size ball joint in to. If anybody is running the rough county kit, does it fix the cv angles at all. The z-71 a-arms are tubular just like the rough country set, i think it will work. Help me out???
THANKS
a arms arent the problem for the cv angles. The a arms that come with the kit are modified for the balljoint angles, but to correct the cv you will need to drop the diff.

Drop diff= X2

I am running the 2" superlift kit which is basically the same as the 2" rough country lift. So, yeah, X3 for what they said. I wish they had made some provisions for dropping the front diff. But there just aren't many other susp lift options out there (those 2 companies make the only 2" susp kits).

i wish fab tech still made the 5 in. lift for the dimes. now they only make the dang 3.5 :(

SO OTHER THAN THE A-ARMS I SHOULD DROP THE DIFF. THIS WOULD CORRECT THE GEOMETRY /-\
TAKE THE CAPS OFF FIRST OFF.
Yes, dropping the differential would correct the cv shaft geometry.

The only s-series application I found from fabtech was for 2wd. Bowtieordie is talking 4wd.
superlift and bds makes a 5" & 6" kit for the zr2's, maybe its similar to the s10/sonoma 4x4's.

Yeah, there are 6" kits for the 4x4 blazer/s10. I was just thinking that a 3.5 would be a nice middle of the road lift between 2" and 6"... if it actually existed.
