Antenna Shaving

Here is the hole where the antenna once was.

Next a grinder was used to clean the metal from around the hole.

From inside the engine compartment, a small piece of sheet metal was held up under the hole in the fender and then welded in.

Next it was time to bondo.

A bad primer shot.
http://www.buildyourride.com/98s10/antenna6.jpg Since the truck is getting painted soon anyways I decided just to hit this area with some Duplicolor paint from Walmart for the time being. After buffing it by hand with buffing compound it looks pretty good, better than I expected.
