Alright everyone, if you know me you know that I have been messin with those clowns over at Import Intelligence and ordered thier needle kit (first one was bad had to wait for a replacement). I now have it in and I think its cool as hell but after having to go thru all the BS with those guys it has lost its "coolness" by a couple points in my personal book. I took a crap load of before and after plus install pics but I'm just a little miffed as the pics came out like crap! I forgot I left the camera in the truck overnight when it got like -20 outside and the films a little fuzzy..dang it!..i will post the install pics anyways and within a week or so have some actual good digital pics of the day/night looks of the gauge's themselves, so be patient as they will all be posted under this topic with a small install briefing to go along with each pic.

Ok heres the actual product itself.

Step 1: take that pesky gauge cluster out and make sure you got some room to work with.

Step 2: CAREFULLY remove your gauge face, needle stops, and mileage reset bar to expose cluter face.

Step 3: Using a Dremel or a similar tool make yourself a little semi-circle on the gauge face side of the actual cluster body itself for the main wiring to go in and out of the area.

Step 4: Take the LED Rings and place the ones with 1 lamp on the smaller gauges and the ones with 3 on the 2 bigger main gauges.

Step 5 & 6: After placing the rings make sure all wiring is routed to not cross over the needle post areas and to run into the middle to main harness and out from the cluster, then use Epoxy to mount the actual harness to the cluster body in the already drilled slot.

Step 7: Replace gauge face and allow to sit for a few minutes. If gauge face is not sticky enough use a light coat of CLEAR adhesive to the back, careful to avoid the clear areas for viewing shifter position or odometer.

Step 8: Remove light switch control box from dash trim and put back onto the harnesses, and find your headlight control power wire. For my Blazer it was the first wire on the right, brown, i believe.

Step 9: Strip, connect, solder, and tape both power and ground wires to ensure a good clean and strong connection.

Step 10: Put it all back together,..just take extra care when replaceing the needles as if you push down too far they will rub on the LED's and not function properly, give them just a little bit of clearence.
