2 days ago I was at the store when the wind got a hold of my door and flung it open. As soon as it happened I heard something "pop". I looked around and noticed my door spring on the ground and a bracket moving freely. My door opens and closes with no problem, just doesn't bounce with out the spring. I also have some sort of noise everytime I stop or go. but Im not sure if thats my wasted ball-joints, or my door flexing more.
what can I do about this? how can I fix it, and roughly what cost?
any input is appreciated.

Rent a door spring installer tool form the auto-parts store. Reinstall it. The noise is probably the lever bouncing around.

How much of a PITA is this?
Also, how much would a shop charge me?
Me being me I'll take a stab at it, but once things get heated I may take it some where... or blow some steam off on my neighbors fence with my nifty hammer and then lose it in someones yard a street over.... oh sorry kinda zoned for a minute :D
But seriously...

Alright, I got the pin... the hinge itself looks worn too. I may need to take it to a body shop in the future. The pin will have to do for now, I also dont have to worry about a spring at the moment, we'll see how this goes tomarrow when I install the new one.

There is standard pins and fix-it pins. Do some Google research. This is actually a s-series common issue as is my TA. The weight of the doors on the TA are a problem with it.
X2 on fixing it yourself. And the spring being out is half the battle already.
Yea... seems like I remember brass bushings with the last kit I bought. Usually put the hinge back at 90%+.

I have the pins for the door and attempted to do it today... this can be just a pure beotch to do by yourself.
I need to try another day... and yes I got hot headed and nearly threw the hammer... sorry... short fuse. mainly when it deals with me not able to drive anywhere if I 'dick it up' and the possibility of F-ing up my door.
