I'm not totally done yet. Laugh if you want. My turbo looks better than your bottle. Totally custom, by the way, 1st time welding, and 1st turbo project. Building a supra, so when that is running, i can work more on this daily driver. Let me know what you think, or give advice. By the way, 10PSI. Factory GASSSS!

Never thought of someone doing it quite like that before but I guess it works. Pretty cool. Clean up the setup and I would say its pretty innovative. Whats the turbo lag like on that being that it has to travel so far.

cover it with a diamond tread tool box and no one will ever know

I've seen a remote setup like that before. How much boost?
Nitrous would cure the lag, if any, and a bed cover would hide the fun stuff.

Dyno?

Yeah, I see that now. Lol.

Always pays to slow down and read. What's the fuel system setup like?
Fmu? Extra injector, ???

By the way, welcome to the planet foo!

Just something to consider.. is that air filter always going to be exposed like that or are you plannin some kind of a cover so rain, snow or whatever's wet doesn't get sucked in..? I've also seen remote turbo setups before but they were usually under the bed or cab.

That and I assume he is working on a discharge pipe because there is a hole but the bed looks pretty toasted all around it

Because of the lag from the original turbine housing.(.96) Wouldn't boost until 4g's. I got a .51 A/R housing, HUGE difference. THe hole in the bed is where the exhaust pipe ran before, the new housing did not line up with the original flange.

Very interesting. What kind of power are you hoping for out of this?

Whats the turbo lag like on that being that it has to travel so far.

I've seen a twin turbo setup for a vette that go in place of the mufflers just inside the back bumper.
They claim almost no turbo lag and they go twice as far.
