3 day drive from Lakewood,WA to Springfield,MO. Oh the things I saw!
Lower Idaho, upper Utah was beautiful. I would drive that again!
In Twin Falls, Idaho I got a inch of ice on me headlights and antenna!
from Salt lake city to the Colorado state line was crappy (just desert).
The Rockies was cold! I found that my truck weighed 2 tons (4050 lbs) so it hated climbing mountains. After the Rockies there was sharp downhill curves, I had to take the @ 90! The people I passed were freaking out because I was going soo fast! Then from Burlington,CO I drove 90mph all the way to Salina, KS!!!
Kansas sucked because it was sooo flat. I only got hit w/ 2 lasers (from cops) and only saw maybe 8 the whole trip. I didnt get a ticket and my truck had no complaints! I love my S-10 sooo much. I am proud to be a GM owner! We almost got into a head-on collission because some stupid *** lady in CO thought she was on a 2 lane road! We saw 2 cars flipped over. I think that was about it!
We left @ 6:00 a.m. Pacific time on the 17th, drove 16 hours to outside of Boise, ID stayed the night there. Then got up @ 5:00 a.m. pacific time, drove to Eagle, CO and stayed the night. Then @ 5:00 a.m. mountain time, we drovew all the way here. We got in @ 1:00 a.m. central time on the 20th!
If anyone gets the chance to take that road trip, DO IT!!! It was soooo beautiful!
