probally not with a 4/4 butt...... Do you have any issues right now when you drive over speedbumps. It'll hang down an extra inch or so depending on what brand you get. The big issue though is you need to get an exstension for the filter. I've never had an issue with it and I've put a deep pan on every auto i've ever owned, but I've heard some tranny don't like deep pans.

is it the finned B&M ? If so you may have a slight issue with speedbumps

I think with that low of a drop you might scrape in on bad bumbs or if you bottomed out.I can't say for sure but it could be a issue.

i measured the cast b and m pan i got and it is 4 1/4 inches deep. again, think i will run into any clearance issues?
also, which melts at a lower temperature: cast aluminium or bronze? i want to get my temp gauge brazed onto the pan. would it be easier to just get it welded?
