I think thats great Steve! Only bad thing was those asses put you up next to a GEO Storm! WTF?! Is that not a little insulting or what? We got a few guys around hear that might be able to help you get taht time lower if you post your 60ft and stuff.
Your truck looks real good with the body kit and all but I wonder if you couldnt of run a 14.4 with out it. How much gas did you have in the tank? Did you have the spare tire under the truck? Try to see what you can do to shave a little weight. Dont you have 4:10's in your truck? I'm wondering now if I can get my Jimmy to pull a 14.8 when I swap every thing over. Hmmm......

my suggestion: ditch everything...
my 76 f100 drag beater gained a full second by yanking a bunch of stuff off and putting on some cheap headers.... i gutted the interior, the dash was gone, only one seat, no inner fenderwells, no lights, yanked the tank and ran a 5 gallon fuel cell... i went all out. I pulled the bed. it was awesome that the "dash" was a foot wide chunk of plywood mounted to the colulm that held the tach and a keyswitch. but, yeah, pull out the simple things like your spare, your extra tools, a sub box, the 250 CD folder thats full.... 100 pounds lost is one tenth shaved.

It looked like you had the 15s on the rear. Did you have a drag radial on it?

60 - 2.314 - due to no traction half throttle only 330 - 6.282 1/8 - 9.523 mph - 76 1000 - 12.35 1/4 - 14.561 mph - 94.3 I only have full exhaust done , no e-fan cause it didnt cool enough , and everything is still in my truck , spare tire ect. I dont have posi , I have 3.42 rear end gear , I can only half throttle it to start out than WOT! Any advice on how to be in the 13's , oh and it was about 89 degrees outside to , thanks guys |

You can adjust these for a better launch. 4:10's would help a bunch but thier gonna suck if you do alot of high way driving. Get a better E-fan. Search Taurus fan. Mikz86TA did a "how to" on it. Shave some weight. Every 100lbs is a 10th of a sec. Do you have an auto or manual trans? Maybe a shift kit or better clutch? I dont think any of this will get you in the 13's but it will help you lower you et's a bit. If I was running those times with those mods and wanted to get in the 13's relatively easy. I would look into an SDS EIC a couple injectors and a N2o kit. The SDS Al has is supposed to be real easy to tune.

I just think extra injectors and a 75 shot would be the simplest. I guess you can go with meth/water inj, custom grind cam, some head work and some 1.52 or 1.6 rollor rockers. But thats a bit more work.

Id save your money on the meth kit and buy rockers, and talk to Al about more boost if you do the Marine Manifold upgrade.
