Sound Clip III : The Headers
Yeah, so I finally got this clip uploaded of my exhaust with the new Gibson headers on.
In case you are new, I got Gibson GP-177S stainless-steel shorty headers recently. I already had a 2.25" to 2.5" custom made Y-pipe which deletes the Pre-Cat. I have a Magnaflow Hi-Flow Cat 2.5" i/o, a Flowmaster si/so 2.5" Super40 muffler and exit is in the stock location. My signature explains all the other mods as well. I also have a section that has the installation challenges and a few pics of the header install. Enjoy http://videos.streetfire.net/video/1...3f01579d10.htm To make it easier, heres the exhaust with all as mentioned EXCEPT the headers. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/9...d101667bbf.htm And another older one of the same. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/2...d80149ccce.htm And here is the same exhaust with the STOCK Y-pipe and manifolds. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/c...d2001c5d16.htm

Re: Sound Clip III : The Headers
I got them off e-bay. They were something like $240 shipped. Normally they go for $300-$390 range. The store was actually Godfathers Customs closeourt e-bay store. I know they had some Gibson cat-backs, but I didnt see any more headers. I got them last year.
Currently Gibson, JBA, OBX (on e-bay) and Edelbrock are the only headers for the 2nd Gens that are sorto bolt-in. The Edels you have to make a y-pipe. But do that anyways =) Never seen anyone get the OBXs, but they are suposedly good products. I dont have any AIT tunes or anything in my 2003 truck stock, so I had to plug the threaded tube off the drivers rear header. Probably why they dont list these to go up to my year. THX for the complements. Im happy with them
