what do you plan to do with your blazer? as in daily? how much power? didn't read all of the forum but they syty intakes don't flow,a 50 trim is kind of small,fmu is trash,get rid of the turbo with flowmaster combo... if you plan on 300hp it's all fine

it's not a syty intake, it's an MPFI converted edelbrock 2114

yea what he said^. also it is my daily and i plan to be over 300 but under 400. no fmu all done properly with a 2114 conversion and custom tune by me.

ok here is a lil update. (i am just going to pick up right where i left off)

i had a little time this weekend to work on the truck.(it was my sisters birthday on Sunday so that took up most of that day)

i was able to clearance the a/c compressor sot that it clears my fuel rails.

i had to cut off a fair bit so the result is that i lost the passenger side rear mounting bolt. but i think it will be fine with the other 3, its pretty sturdy.

it was kind of a pain because i could not take it off of the truck, cuz the system is pressurized, so i had to just put in on a bench right in front of the truck and work on it there. still connected.

it clears fine now and i got the serpentine belt back on and everything related works now, alt, ps, ect.

i then started to tear apart the wiring harness to move some of the sensor locations. as they are in different places now. thats pretty much as far as i got. i did not have time to actually extend anything i just got them all separated out and pulled apart.

i did determine that the high idle is caused by ...u guessed it the iac not being hooked up(one of the connectors i have to move). so i covered the whole with my finger and the idle went to normal. this is good news because it shows that i don't have other vacuum leaks. and it should bring my ridiculously high (2k rpm) idle back to normal.

so i am getting closer to having it ready for the road again. i had literally the bare minimum to make it run so that i could pull it out of the garage. but it is getting to be more of a fully functional truck again. i hope to extend the wiring harness possibly this weekend and try to tie up a few other loose ends, to get it back on the road.
