Re: My exhaust upgrade
![]() Click this link : http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3147/...52c0b373_b.jpg I went by Autozone- to see what codes I was throwing. I think my O2s are bad... I started getting the codes after I installed the headers and new Y pipe. The Headers and collectors are Jet Hot Coated. The O2s sensors are still in the same location as the stock Y pipe had them. Attached are the codes. I have an aftermarket tune which deleted the 3rd O2 sensor after the cat. So I have just the main 2 on each side. If you look hard you can see where the 02s are. Re: My exhaust upgrade
I found out why my truck was throwing codes, I have another leak!! I cut off the EGR tube, air tube and heat shield on the drivers side header. The 2 spot welds that held on the head shield had broken and I had to weld them in. I just didn't install it back on. The drivers side header just has an air tube for the smog pump as well. Well the weld around that has cracked and its leaking. sooo gotta take that side off, grind/cut off that, weld in, and repaint, reinstall header. The air tubes were brazed on, not really welded. They were like that when I bought the headers. I should have cut them all off before I had them coated. I didn't think they would crack. So after this is fixed, shouldn't have any more problems.
btw... hint : I just bought something thats shiny and can produce 10 PSI
