Re: Wynjammer is Back On
that's a very quick time, most s/c'd 4.3 trucks I've seen still run mid/high 14's.

Re: Wynjammer is Back On
With the right tires, gears, and 230 rwhp, a 3200lb vehicle could pull a 13.9 in the 1/4. If it hooked up good. Or am I off? If he's got a manual trans He should be getting over 220 to the wheels. I would love to see a time slip so there is no doubting. I believe it though. Unless those trucks or heavier than that.

Re: Wynjammer is Back On
Now that I think about it....I would think something along the lines of high 14s to low 15s, but who knows.
Not that these are incredibly accurate but a round a bout figure: 1/4 mile time:13.9 Trap Speed:101 Weight of vehicle with driver (pounds): 3300 Horsepower @ flywheel = 254.11 HP http://www.dragtimes.com/horsepower-...power+Estimate

Re: Wynjammer is Back On
![]() Heres an exhaust clip, I did a 13.9@101mph , I hook up well due to the fact that I have a posi rear end with 4.10s,I have a good flowing exhaust with headers and y-pipe no cats , very good A/F ratio , and I took my headlight out LOL, oh did I mention 108 OCTANE,I was racing a FAST diesel!!! I can somehow make my lil reg cab to hook up quite well,HOOK up is key,Like AL says Torque gets you there Horsepower keeps you there!!! Last edited by 1SickS10; 07-04-08 at 01:42 AM.. |
