What year did they install precats on 4.3s? I saw the one on Rentedmule's y pipe, and last week when I got my hollowed cat put in, I'm sure I didn't have a liltle precat like the one on Mule's y pipe. Is this on 2000 and newer models?

P.S it sounds really good. IMO I think you need a slp loudmouth 2 to finish it off.

No idea if it's internal or external diameter. Yeah, my dad's Auto Parts Plus store exclusively sold Walker exhaust parts so that's why I started buying dynomax stuff.

I actually used to get most of my parts free from sales reps - too bad that doesn't happen anymore

I might get a "Y" and headers real soon. Then I'll still have the tail to do. I can get a mandrel bent "Y" done for $240 but I want it for a bit cheaper. Hmmmmm wonder where I could get a Y for about 150.......shipped?
