    How to adjust parking brake?

Anybody know how to adjust it? I can literally push my truck when the parking brake is on and I have a 5 speed, so thats not good.

    Thanks.

There is a turnbuckle on the drivers side (under your seat on a Blazer) the cable running to it is black. You should be able to tighten it up that way.

id check your rear brakes out usually at work wed set the rear brake adjusters for each wheel up then tighten the e-brake cables up with the adjuster under the driver side

Hell I forgot the Trucks have drums........ If the rear brakes are good drive in reverse for a while and slam the brakes repeat several times. If they are in good working order that should adjust them.

IF the adjusters are not seized up, Yes, that will work. I would recommend pulling a wheel and a drum and having a quick look tho. Never hurts.

my self adjusters neer really seem to work all that great i usually self adjust them or check em when i do an oil change you may get enough tension from just adjusting the cable adjuster but like jay said checkin out the brakes isnt a bad idea
