    Installing Big Block In My 1988 S10,Need Help

    I'm Installing A 1970 Corvette 454 In My 1988 S10 2WD. Pick-up,Need Help On What Headers,Motor Mounts To Use.Any Help Is Welcomed.

    I have done 3 v8 swap first two were small block Chevy this one is a 5.3 and I can't see that motor going in unless the fire wall is almost taken out and moved back a bit

    Biggest swap I have been involved in was a 400 Caddy Smallblock in a first gen 2 door blazer 4x4. Sorry, im not much help to ya.

    i seen a 70's vintage 454 'vette not to long ago there is no room to speak of in the vette that thing came out of lol

    I remember reading this somewhere, they used fenderwell headers. The brands were Stahl and Lemon. I imagine the the steering shaft will be a biotch, might look into fabricating your own headers.

    I also found this for you.
    "Early style big block Chevrolet motor mounts were used to mount the engine to the cross member. Extensions were welded to the front edge of the cross member and brackets were fabricated for the motor mounts to bolt to."-tlamber (v8s10.org)
