    Exclamation Supercharger for a 1994 Vortec V6

I am looking to make my 1994 GMC Sierra look like a sleeper. Maybe put bags under it but other than that keep it "looking" stock but i want a Supercharger and a chip to put in it and don't know where to look. Anyone have an Idea where to find these parts? Or what I should do?

Yours is a TBI so I would highly recommend Whipple but second choice would be the Wynjammer.

I believe since his is a 94 v6 vortec it would be the same as my blazer being cpi not tbi. I have tried to look for superchargers. I can only find them for tbi. But im pretty sure if you do some modification on the intake tube, it would work.

Yeah his could be a CPI I forget they put those in the fullsize trucks to.CPI is a different story. There are none for a CPI but you could make one work with some fabrication. It would need to be approached like a TBI though.CPI is speed density so to tune it would have to be programmed by a chip like TBI.Intake tubing could be bought to adapt to a CPI.

Uhhh..... unless it was an engine swaped '94, Vortec didn't come out until '96 i thought.

The cpi was also refered to as vortec. They say vortec in big letters across the top, and had better heads than the tbi engines. In '96 the current vortec heads were introduced, along with the sfi injection system.

not to hijack the thread to badly, but the mention of improved heads brought a question to mind. Could factory heads be swapped from different Generation engines, say from the CPI's "Vortec" to the older TBI engines???

any factory head from 95 and earlier can be swapped, so say if you want to swap your 89 TBI heads for some 95 CPI L35 heads it would work
